Ibrahim Masood

Pakistani-born and Doha-based Ibrahim Masood manages Aventicum Capital’s MENA fund, which invests in blue chip companies listed on the stock exchanges in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Ibrahim uses a value investment style and says the best market for his strategy is one marked by sideways or weak environments. Ibrahim’s key valuation metrics are return on market equity, price to book and price to normalised earnings. Ibrahim graduated from the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi and joined Aventicum Capital in 2012. He has been based in the Middle East since 2001.

The fund seeks to maximize total investment return by investing in high quality MENA based companies run by management with a demonstrable track record of shareholder value creation.
