BNY Mellon Wealth Management has named Yolande Escher as head of Greater China based in Hong Kong.
Escher joined BNY Mellon family office services, international wealth management in 2014 in London.
In her new role, she will report to Jeroen Kwist, head of international wealth management and will be responsible for growing the group’s activities in Asia.
Before BNY Mellon, Escher started her career at UBS Wealth Management in Zurich and London. There she held various senior positions in strategy, business management and client sales.
In 2008, Escher joined Barclays Wealth and was a desk head for UK resident non-domiciled clients.
Commenting on the position, Kwist said: ‘With over 14 years of extensive wealth management experience including four years with BNY Mellon Wealth Management, we are pleased that Yolande has agreed to transition from her responsibilities in London to Hong Kong.
‘We are extremely committed to this market and Yolande’s wealth of experience, industry knowledge and client focus will play an integral role in our continued growth strategy in Asia Pacific.’
