Deutsche Bank Wealth Management has shut the desk servicing external asset managers in Asia.
It will now be offering the EAM service through relationship managers in the region.
'By doing so, we aim to provide service in a more efficient and effective way,' a spokesperson said.
The head of external asset managers, Christian Christow, is still with the bank, according to the spokesperson.
Christow joined Deutsche Bank from Credit Suisse in 2012.
The desk provided brokerage, custody and investment advisory services for EAM managed accounts.
The decision comes at a time private banks in the region are establishing EAM desks to better tap the businesses.
