Eastspring Investments has appointed a new CEO for Singapore effective September 1.
Phil Stockwell will take on the role from current CEO Jackie Chew, who has been appointed to a global role within Prudential’s internal audit team.
Reporting to chief executive Guy Strapp he will be responsible for the operations of the Singapore office which is the largest of Eastspring’s ten Asia offices and, with 350 employees, serves as the asset manager’s central investment hub.
Currently, he is the chief operating officer of Eastspring.
Stockwell, who joined Eastspring in 2014, was also chief operating officer at BT Investment Management in Australia and held consulting roles with McKinsey & Company and KPMG Consulting.
Eastspring Investments, part of Prudential Corporation Asia, is Prudential's asset management business in Asia.
