Eastspring hires CIO from BNP Paribas

Asia-focused Eastspring Investments has appointed Colin Graham, who brings 25 years of asset management experience, as chief investment officer for multi asset solutions.

Graham comes from BNP Paribas Investment Partners in London, where he held a similar position.

Prior to that, he was managing director, co-head of global multi asset strategies, multi asset client solutions at BlackRock. He was also a portfolio manager at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.

Reporting to the company chief investment officer Virginie Maisonneuve, Graham will lead and further develop the multi asset solutions team at Eastspring.

Commenting on the appointment Maisonneuve said: ‘Colin’s appointment will strengthen Eastspring’s growing investment offering, with a multi asset solution capability that complements our existing asset classes.’

This is the second chief investment officer Eastspring has hired in the recent few months. Last October, it formed a new alternatives investment team and made two new senior hires.

Based in Singapore, Nadir Maruf was appointed as chief investment officer for alternatives, also reporting to Maisonneuve.
