Ashley Perrott, head of pan Asia fixed income at UBS Asset Management, is set to leave the company end of this month after 14 years, Citywire Asia has learnt.
Singapore-based Perrott is relocating back to Sydney, Australia, for family reasons.
His portfolio will be split between Hong Kong-based Hayden Briscoe, the company's head of fixed income for Asia Pacific, and Singapore-based Ross Dilkes, who is the Asia fixed income portfolio manager.
Having joined UBS in 2004, Perrotts has been responsible for all pan Asia fixed income activities and strategy, as well as pan Asia interest rate and sector allocation strategies
Last month, UBS said it will merge its Asia-focused bond fund intro a broader emerging markets bond strategy. Perrott is the former manager of the merged Asian fund.
