Brandywine Global Investment Management has appointed Tariq Ahmad as the new chief executive officer of Brandywine Global Investment Management (Asia).
Based in Singapore, Ahmad will oversee Brandywine Global’s Asia Pacific business, reaffirming the firm’s commitment to the growing region by expanding operations there.
Previously, Ahmad served as the head of business development and client service for Brandywine Global’s Singapore affiliate, which offers Asian market access to global investment management through a variety of investment vehicles.
Prior to joining Brandywine Global, Ahmad served as CEO and partner of Rogge Global Partners Asia in Singapore, where he managed business development and client service for the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions.
His past experience also includes investment management roles at Western Asset Management, JP Morgan Asset Management, and State Street Global Advisors.

Brandywine Global Investment Management managed $65 billion as of December 31, 2016 for a primarily institutional client base.
