Swiss banking group Credit Suisse continues to expand its private banking and investment banking units with two new appointments in Southeast Asia.
Felicity Chan will assume the role of head of equity syndicate for Southeast Asia in the markets business, and Yvonne Voon has been appointed head of Southeast Asia real estate in investment banking and capital markets.
Chan has been with Credit Suisse for 14 years. In her new role, she will collaborate with teams across the bank’s integrated private banking and investment banking platform to deliver equity distribution capability to clients in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and the frontier markets.
She was previously part of the Southeast Asia corporate finance team, covering equity, debt and mergers and acquisitions advisory.
Voon has been with Credit Suisse for 12 years. Going forward she will be responsible for capitalizing on opportunities to deliver a wider range of solutions to companies in the real estate sector.
She previously held a number of roles in equity research and equity sales in London, Singapore and Malaysia.
Credit Suisse has been on an aggressive hiring spree lately, adding new appointments to its Asia Pacific team. Last month, the group announced five new hires in Hong Kong and Australia.
