T. Rowe Price has appointed Thomas Poullaouec as head of multi-asset solutions for Asia Pacific (APAC).
Poullaouec joined the asset manager from State Street Global Advisors, where he last held the position of managing director and head of strategy and research – APAC at the firm’s investment solutions group. Before that, he held various investment roles at BNP Paribas.
Hong Kong-based Poullaouec reports to Peter Austin, global head of multi-asset solutions and a member of T. Rowe Price’s multi-asset investment team.
In Poullaouec’s new role, he will engage with institutional investors in the region on defined outcome investments and deliver targeted investment solutions to meet their needs. Poullaouec has more than 20 years of experience providing targeted and research-based asset allocation solutions for clients in Asia and Europe.
The appointment is the latest senior hire for the firm’s multi-asset division, following the appointments of Lowell Yura, as head of multi-asset solutions for North America, and Yoram Lustig, as head of multi-asset solutions for Europe, Middle East, and Africa in June.
T. Rowe Price’s experience of managing multi-asset portfolios began in 1990. Its multi-asset solutions group’s comprehensive asset allocation achieves through a combination of strategic portfolio design, tactical asset allocation and active security selection.
The multi-asset solutions group had $265 billion assets under management as of June 30.
