Portfolio managers Nudgem Richyal and Christopher Lees adopted an unconstrained investment approach towards the JOHCM Global Select fund. The fund delivered outperformance of 1.9 percentage points in May this year.

Outperformance during the month was driven by stock selection in financials and technology sectors, a commentary by the fund manager showed. In particular, Momo, a leading Chinese mobile social networking platform was singled out as the top performing stock during the month.

Citing capacity reasons, the fund has been soft closed to new investors since 31 March 2016. As of end May 2018, the fund has assets under management of $3.1 billion.
