UBS Wealth Management Southeast Asia has announced changes to its organisational set-up.
Essentially delayerising the structure, the region's desk head and market head roles will be reporting more directly to senior management.
Amid the restructure, Vinay Gandhi, who was regional market manager for Malaysia, India, Indochina, Philippines and financial intermediaries, has left the bank after six years in the role.
Under the new structure which is effective in January 2017, Jeremy McAteer as market head Philippines, Tian Ong Foo as market head Thailand, Henk DeGlint as market head Malaysia, and Eddie Gan as market head Singapore will report directly to August Hatecke, head wealth management South East Asia.
Philip Kunz will continue as market head Indonesia, while jointly taking on an additional responsibility supporting strategic transformation projects in South East Asia.
Markus Vollenweider, head of international markets Apac, will also report locally to August.
Currently UBS Wealth Management Asia Pacific has more than 1,000 client advisors and more than 2,800 employees.
