Neuberger Berman has registered 11 new funds for sale in Hong Kong, of which three will also be made available in Singapore, in a bid to extend its presence in the Asian market.

The US$242 billion US asset manager announced all 14 funds were available on its $18 billion Ucits fund platform, which combines assets for institutional and individual clients and includes over $1.5 billion raised from Taiwan.

The following funds have been registered for sale in Hong Kong:

For the Singapore market the US group has registered the Neuberger Berman US Multi-Cap Opportunities, Short Duration High Yield Bond and the High Yield Bond funds.

Commenting on the new registrations, Nick Hoar, managing director and head of Asia Pacific for Neuberger Berman, said: 'As our firm grows to meet the needs of an increasingly global customer base, it is critical that we are able to offer investment strategies to satisfy that demand.'
