Citywire unveils four newly rated managers based on their risk-adjusted three year performance in Asia

In December, a total of 14 managers runnning funds that are registered in Asia received their first Citywire ratings.

Citywire Manager Ratio: 2.2

Wouter van Overfelt received his first Citywire rating in December with the highest manager ratio of 2.2.

He has been managing the Vontobel Fund Emerging Markets Corp Bond I fund since its inception in 2015.

The fund has an overweight holding in Turkey, Argentina and Ukraine, and underweight holding in countries like India, South Korea and Chile.

van Overfelt joined Vontobel Asset Management in April 2013 as its portfolio manager within the emerging markets fixed income team.

He focuses mainly on hard currency such as sovereign, quasi-sovereign, corporates and frontier, as well as blend strategies.

Citywire Manager Ratio: 0.37

Henrik Blohm joined Banque de Luxembourg Investments in 2014 and is responsible for US small and mid cap investments.

He has been managing the BL American Smaller Companies A Dis fund since its launch in November 2015.

As of 19 December, the fund had the largest overweight holding in California-based medical equipment firm Resmed, and the largest underweight holding in multi-national healthcare enterprise Centene.

The fund is benckmarked against the MSCI US Small + Mid Cap NR Index.

Citywire Manager Ratio: 0.24

Debasish Chakrabarti is a portfolio manager and senior research analyst for concentrated global growth.

He manages the the AB SICAV I-Concentrated Global Equity Pf I USD fund introduced in December 2013. 

As of end-November 2018, the fund had largest holding in global payments and a technology firm Mastercard.

Daniel Crowe is a portfolio manager on William Blair's Mid Cap Growth and SMID Growth strategies. He joined William Blair since 2011.

Crowe manages the William Blair SICAV US Small-Mid Cap Growth I fund incepted in December 2003.

As of end-November, the fund had net assets of $2.72 billion. The fund had largest holdings in the healthcare sector and smallest holding in the energy sector.

The fund, which invests in small- and mid-cap quality companies, is benchmarked against the Russell 2500TM Growth Index.
