Fullerton Fund Management has appointed Jenny Sofian as CEO to lead the development and implementation of the company’s overall business strategy.
Sofian joins from Amundi Singapore, where she spent more than 20 years. She was appointed the CEO and head of South Asia in November 2009, responsible for their Southeast Asian and Australian operations.
She also served as the regional director of Southeast Asia at group level.
In her new capacity, Sofian will focus on expanding Fullerton’s third-party business and work closely with the firm’s investment team to ensure strong investment performance.
Commenting on the hire, chairman of the board and interim CEO Ho Tian Yee said, ‘Jenny's appointment is the culmination of our search for someone who can lead Fullerton's growth ambitions and fulfil our long-term plans.
‘Jenny is a proven leader with an established record of growing businesses and creating value for stakeholders. Her people-oriented approach and interpersonal skills will also be a force of motivation for the team.’
