Bank J Safra Sarasin has appointed Angie Ma as managing director and vice chair for client advisory based in Hong Kong.
Ma joins from Credit Suisse Private Bank in Hong Kong where she had been a managing director and market leader for China since 2014.
Prior to that she spent eight years at UBS in Hong Kong leading a team as a managing director and China South Country team head from 2006 to 2014.
She began her banking career in New York with Merrill Lynch in various sales and marketing roles, leaving Merrill as market manager China based in Hong Kong.

Last month, the wealth manager appointed Wei Sh Lim as funds and mandates product specialist based in Singapore.
Lim was formerly with Standard Chartered Bank, where she was a director in the fund selection team for nine months.
