Liechtenstein-headquartered VP Bank has hired Samuel Witjaksono as Indonesia market head.
Bringing over 30 years of experience to the position, Witjaksono joins from Taiwan’s CTBC Private Bank, where he was a team leader.
Prior to that, he worked for Pictet Wealth Management as senior director, as well as UBS, Safra Sarasin and RBC Wealth Management in the past.
Singapore CEO, Bruno Morel said: 'VP Bank is continuing to grow its advisory team in Asia, and with the support of a strong product and services platform, to pursue its growth strategy for the region.'
The boutique private bank has been growing its Asian private banking and intermediaries business over the past two years and aims to double the employees to 100 through organic growth and acquisitions by the end of next year.
Its target markets in the region are Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
